Thenue Housing Association has upgraded its phone system to improve services for thousands of tenants across Glasgow.

The housing association, which owns and manages around 4,000 properties, commissioned the new cloud-based system as part of efforts to modernise its communications.

The Zoom Phone system was designed and installed by Exchange Communications following a competitive tender process.

It includes interactive voice response, call reporting, internet calling and mobile apps, alongside features designed to support hybrid working.

The installation also includes call summaries, voicemail, message prioritisation and web-based administration.

Exchange Communications has been awarded a three-year contract covering delivery, support and maintenance.

The migration included number porting and staff training, with the company also providing a free calls package.

Thenue said there was no disruption to services during the changeover.

The association operates mainly across Calton, Bridgeton, Dalmarnock, Blackhill, Cranhill and Castlemilk.
