Exchange Communications and Vodafone switch on 4G across Battersea Power Station
Battersea Power Station, London’s newest riverside neighbourhood has become one of the ‘most connect sites in Europe’ thanks to a digital transformation project by leading tech firm Exchange Communications, enjoying fast mobile data speeds and reliable calls across the development.
Connected and driven forward by Exchange Communications, the UK’s leading in-building cellular solutions specialist, in partnership with carrier Vodafone, 4G is already live in the Grade II listed Power Station. Its arrival is ensuring customers visiting and working in its shops, bars, restaurants, and office space have fast and reliable 4G connection.
Meanwhile, for those who wish to experience the renowned Lift 109, a unique glass elevator experience in the station’s north-west chimney offering panoramic views of the city, is also covered – perfect for those wanting to stream or share their experiences with friends or on social media.
The main Power Station building joins other areas of the development which are already live, including the Underground station, with 4G expected to be switched on across the whole of Battersea in the near future.
